Private fermentation workshops
If you're in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and looking for a fun experience to share with friends, family or any group, schedule a private fermentation workshop. We'll bring the ferments and fun to you ! (Wow!)
* Learning about the process of fermenting a variety of foods.
* Trying several fermented products including kombucha, water kefir, fermented vegetables, and a variety of sauerkrauts (yes, they can be made in different flavors)
* Tasting vinegar pickles and fermented pickles. (there's a huge difference!)
* Participants will have a hands-on experience and will go home with a quart of their own sauerkraut, a fermentation kit, recipes, and resources.
You can make delicious probiotic foods with minimal effort or expense!
The fee for a home workshop is:
$60 per participant for 3 people - $180.
$55 per participant for 4 people - $220.
$50 per participant for 5 people or more - $250 +.
All materials including knives, cutting boards, and food is included. Be ready for a fun cooking experience -- and maybe bring an apron if you're so inclined!
